On my way back from ASUG Philly chapter I realized how important it is to stay close to the field. It helps me better understand the value proposition of our 360Suite products. There I ran a demo dealing with Business Objects data consistency. And I realized why our 360Bind solution for automated Business Objects tests is more and more becoming a must have for any BOBJ client! I explained funny stories about clients discovering that their data is no longer consistent after an upgrade, a BW update, a database change or whatever. One of them has been discussed here where the client discovered he is running his business for 5 years with wrong data!

User Adoption
After my demo someone stopped by my booth and pinpoint something that I never thought before. He understands that the product will help him to run its Business Objects migration while eliminating all the risks! But then he mentions something which is even more important for him. User adoption! A big challenge for IT, SAP and us!
We designed our 360Eyes product that delivers BI on BI insights for that purpose. It provides outputs on effective usage and proposes client to make more use of Lumira or Design studio for example. This guy confirms that it will be helpful for his upcoming upgrade to BI4.2 and also for improving user adoption. His end users complain about the consistency of data. The confidence they have in Business Objects might be disturbed! End users complain about random data changes. Those discrepancies come from calculation engine changes or any other hidden reason! This time is over when using automated regression tests!
