Introducing Tableau Cloud Release Preview Sites
We’re very excited to announce that Tableau has chosen Wiiisdom to partner together for the launch of Tableau Cloud Release Preview Sites! This collaboration will ensure Tableau+ customers, particularly those in highly-regulated environments, ensure compliance through Wiiisdom’s expertise in Analytics Governance.
But what exactly are Tableau Cloud Release Preview Sites, and how can Wiiisdom help organizations? This article will explain everything you need to know.
What are Tableau Cloud Release Preview Sites?
These sites allow organizations to test new Tableau Cloud major releases 2 weeks ahead of the official release date. Admins will be able to carry out regression testing to compare the production sites and the release preview sites to make sure that the upcoming release isn’t introducing any bugs to their content. Admins will see how updates may impact their business’ content and provide an understanding of the functional changes so that they’re prepared for the new features on the platform. Remember that you can have up to 50 sites on Tableau+ and these 50 could be a mix of both production and Release Preview sites.
N.B. These Release Preview sites are currently only available in the region US East or Virginia.
